Big Bull Writing System
Current access to niitsii•ṗo′•″sin is often limited to antiquated dictionaries, piles of disorganized recordings on cassette, and a few fluent elders who lack access to sharable technologies. niitsii•ṗo′•″sin was never a written language, so as we lose access to fluent speakers, current prevalent writing systems that are more immediately accessible are losing sounds and changing pronunciations with their lack of specificity. The Big Bull Writing System includes all sounds and special characters needed to preserve the sounds correctly. It allows language learners to speak well and it allows fluent speakers to read and write in their original talk for the first time.
